Taliswoman Workshop Many of you have probably seen Nancy Denommee's amazing Taliswoman figures at local art fairs and specialty shops in the Vancouver
BC area. Now you can actually create one of these special
creatures of your very own. In an intense two hour workshop Nancy will teach you the basics of creating a mold for the face, attaching the special embellishments and
making something truly unique. Cloth bodies will be provided to save time and some faces will be available as well. You will leave with at least one complete doll
and the skills to make many more. You should bring small things that you would like to add; twigs, beads, buttons, any small additions you would like to incorporate. Some of these items will be provided.
To concentrate on the process, the class size is limited to three people. The cost is CA$40. |
